Went for a drive towards carindale shopping center in the late afternoon. I wanted to buy a micro sim card for my iPad 2. I’ve used 3 mobile for a couple of years but sadly the quality of their reception is very poor. Par below the average.
It’s near impossible to have a good 3G reception at the heart of the Brisbane city at times. I’ve struggled to get connected to the internet while checking my mails at the Anne street. I’ve been going through the same at home since the coverage isn’t consistent. I don’t receive a good reception at my place, coorparoo. Which is just less than 5pm from the city.
There are attractive data plans, I obtained my mobile broadband connection from Telstra. Although they don’t have any attractive plans, the quality of broadband service is awesome!
I popped into the Telstra shop at carindale thinking i could get my micro sim card pretty quickly. However the customer service doesn’t comply with the quality broadband service they provide. I was on the queue for more than 20 mins and the sales person struggled further 10 to 15 minutes to key in my data to the system.
He started complaining on the system but then it appeared to be a problem between keyboard and the chair. Telstra do provide a good customer service, perhaps this could be one odd occasion. Finally I’ve got my sim card added a bit of mobility to my iPad.
